Alpine Team Boss on Controversial Signing…

News came last week that Alpine has hired former Benetton and Renault boss Flavio Briatore as an executive advisor, despite his controversial exit from F1 following the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix crash scandal.

Briatore has always denied the allegations, and his lifetime ban was overturned in 2010.

"I don't really mind about [the] past," Famin said. “"He has a very high level knowledge of Formula 1, he has a lot of people, and I'm sure he will support us in developing the team faster and better. That's all."

Has Red Bull Run Out of Road?

Max Verstappen wants better upgrades from Red Bull as he feels the team might be hitting a development ceiling, especially with rivals like McLaren catching up.

While Red Bull is making tweaks and optimizations, Max is keen on seeing more significant improvements to keep their edge.

Progress is getting tougher due to strict rules and budget limits, and the team needs to decide how to balance resources between the current car and future models.

Team boss Christian Horner believes this is normal for stable regulations, as it naturally leads to closer competition among teams.

No Quick Fixes at Ferrari…

After Charles Leclerc's triumphant win at his home Grand Prix in Monaco, things have been challenging.

He had a tough time in Montreal with a DNF, and then missed out on the podium again in Barcelona, where some tough competition got the better of him.

In a recent chat, Charles mentioned that Ferrari has been grappling a bit with high-speed performance, which caught them off guard.

He stressed that solving these issues in Formula 1 isn't a quick fix and is crucial despite the long season ahead.

It may be a tough few weeks before the summer break for Ferrari fans.
